When she starts talking, the first thing Adam thinks to say is how is this any different than usual? They've all got twins thanks to the people behind the mirrors.
But then what she means becomes clear.

[ clarisse doesn't really want to talk about when he got here, because for all she knows wonderland pulled him in specifically to fuck with her during the last event. but she knows he had to have been here before then, because that's exactly who annabeth had been worried about when those freaky glowing numbers showed up on their mirrors. as always, wise girl was right, even if it had felt like a stretch at the time. ]
