[ Aw, who says Kol is the evil twin. He could be the innocent saintly twin, gosh geez.
The response isn't what he expected, but then again, he didn't really know what to expect. At least a response is a good sign, it means he can put his silver tongue to use. ]
Oh, you knew the little wolf? Sorry, apparently I've got a Doppleganger... or had... From what I gather he was here for a long time before popping off back home.
[ Michael didn't tell him not to throw him under the bus. ] Michael told me about you, he's an angel. But he said the others were from a different world - one you'd know about.
[ This guy's behaviour is a bit like piss and vinegar, so Kol decides to try to work him in a better mood. ] My brother, I think he's made an enemy of one of them, and I just want to be able to make sure he's safe. [ Ah yes, the loving family card usually works on everyone.
The Mikaelson pauses, eyebrows tugging together in thought for a moment, before he frowns. ] Will you help me? [ Or is he going to have to track the bastard Winchester down and poke around in his head now that he knows what he look like. ]
[The way Kol brushes off Isaac doesn't sit right with Adam, but it's the name of the person who referred him that really does it. Adam narrows his eyes immediately, expression darkening with the connotations and the memories angels bring with them.
You've got to be fucking kidding me, he thinks right before he accepts that angels--even one as different as the other Michael--have their heads jammed so far up their own asses that they wouldn't know a good idea from a bad idea. He doesn't know why Michael would try to refer people his way, and he doesn't care. He'd made a promise not to get involved in this kind of thing ever again.
It's one he's going to damn well keep.]
Michael.
[He repeats the name with distaste.]
Well, sorry, Michael told you wrong. He knows I don't get involved with anything to do with angels. You should do yourself a favor and find better friends. [But since the loving family card is in play, Adam doesn't stop there.] I learned from a hunter. Try one of them if you really want to know.
[ The way Adam brushes him off doesn't sit right with Kol. But the way he visibly darkens with anger with the mention of Michael has Kol immediately regretting telling him. This child wouldn't attack his friend, would he? That would be a headache he doesn't want to have to deal with. Maybe he should just kill him here and now if he's going to be no use... But then he'd just come back.
Kol lets out a sigh. ] Aah, pity.
[ But Adam does throw him a bone, one which Kol doesn't find very helpful. He doesn't trust the hunters here. ]
A hunter? Alright.
[ If he were nicer, or if he cared he might thank him, but Adam decided not to help him, so he had no issue not thanking him for his time. ]
[If this guy knew angels the way Adam does, he'd get why Adam's keeping a hundred mile radius from whatever's going on. Fuck Michael for trying to put him in the middle of it.
The sigh earns a one-shouldered shrug--one that has the barest tinge of sympathy in it. Angels coming after your family? Adam gets that one. He gets it loud and clear. He'd want to learn everything he could to keep the buzzards off his ass, too, and he doesn't blame anyone for being afraid of them.]
While you're doing that, don't believe anything that comes out of Michael's mouth.
[Smartest move Kol could make for him and his brother. Whatever happens, the guy can't say Adam didn't try warning him.]
